This simple act has a huge impact on the success of our Walk. With pre-registration, the planning team has a better indicator of the attendance to accommodate. In addition, once registered, supporters of jdrf can contribute to your team with credit card online processing. Online registration is as easy as clicking here: www.walk.jdrf.org. There's no doubt about it. The Walk to Cure Diabetes is a BIG event and it takes approximately 100 volunteers to participate on the day of the walk. Set up, sign in, food stations, kids corner, and wrap up are examples of some of the areas where help is needed. Take a look at the volunteer form to see the roles and time of day options. We have something for everyone so feel free to pass the form along to friends and neighbors, too!

Walk Incentives
- Anyone who raises $100 or more will receive one ticket to collect a Walk 2007 specially designed & generously donated t-shirt by Abercrombie and Fitch. When you check in at the walk registration table, you will receive the t-shirt ticket. Bring that ticket to the t-shirt table to collect your shirt. Please redeem your ticket right away. The t-shirt table closes after the walk begins.
- The Columbus Blue Jackets is giving the walker that turns in the most money by September 26th, a Rick Nash autographed jersey. Turn your money in today!
- Donatos Pizza is providing 1 FREE large pizza to the top 100 walkers that raise the most money. At the awards reception, JDRF will award coupons to these top fundraisers.
- Additional incentive prizes may be ordered from the Walk To Cure Diabetes Gift catalog after the Walk. There are six levels of prizes available from the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. The more money you raise, the higher level prize you can earn. The six levels in this program represent prizes for raising a minimum of $200. Check out the prizes!
Walk Team T-shirt Contest
As you can see on this page, many walk teams choose to create a special t-shirt for all of their walkers. On Walk Day, provide one of your t-shirts for display. The winner will be announced on walk day around 11:45am. All entrants will be evaluated on the basis of creativity! The winning team will receive a basket full of goodies compliments of Fresh Market.
